About the role
- Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office. ____________________ Thomson Power Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Technician - Level 1 to join our growing team.
- A portfolio of highly engineered power transmission components and subsystems efficiently transmits motion to power industrial applications.
- Regal Rexnord is comprised of three operating segments: Industrial Powertrain Solutions, Power Efficiency Solutions, and Automation & Motion Control.
Responsibilities
- Perform administrative QA tasks including documentation and data entry
- Process non-conformance materials and support finished product inspections
- Calibrate equipment and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with internal teams to support production goals
- The Company's electric motors and air moving subsystems provide the power to create motion.
- The Company's automation offering, comprised of controls, actuators, drives, and precision motors, controls motion in applications ranging from factory automation to precision control in surgical tools.
Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions
- No travel required
Nice to have
- Conduct basic visual inspections of products to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Enter QA transactions in SAP with guidance
- Use Microsoft Excel and Word to complete QA reports
- Apply sound judgment in quality-related decisions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or technical support role
- Good computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Compensation
- The starting hourly rate for this position is CAD 25.4
- This position is eligible for Overtime pay
