About the role

  • Job Description: Production Operator - Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Huntsman is seeking Production Operators supporting the Polyurethanes Division located in Ringwood, IL.
  • This position will report to the Manager Production Excellence.
  • Job Scope Production Operators are responsible for operating manufacturing equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining safe and efficient operations within the production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control tests and draw relevant conclusions to make necessary adjustments to process operations
  • Follow instructions and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to recognize errors, malfunctions, and deviations in documentation, quality, equipment, and performance standards
  • You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
  • Follow production paperwork instructions and accurately document required information

Nice to have

  • The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.
  • Previous experience operating extrusion equipment
  • Experience in the chemical manufacturing industry
  • Ability to bend, stoop, lift up to 55 lbs., climb stairs and ladders, balance, and stand for long periods of time

  • The compensation range reflects the Company's reasonable expectation at the time of posting.
  • 401k - Huntsman automatically contributes 6% of eligible pay, regardless of employee contribution.
  • In addition to the 6% non-discretionary contribution, Huntsman will match $1 for every $1 you contribute up to a maximum match of 4% of eligible pay.

Skills

  • Good data entry and basic computer skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate both seated and standing forklifts (training provided)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for process operations
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts and overtime as necessary

  • The compensation range reflects the Company's reasonable expectation at the time of posting.
