About the role
- In this role, you will serve as the central technical editor, partnering with systems engineers and subsystem experts to transform complex engineering documentation into clear, consistent, and operator-ready documentation.

Responsibilities
- Maintain document configuration control and revision history.
- Establish and maintain documentation standards, templates, terminology, and style guidelines across contributors.
- We are seeking a Technical Writer - Satellite Operations Handbook (Editor-in-Chief) to lead the development and maintenance of a mission-critical Satellite Operations Handbook used throughout the satellite mission lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience authoring long-form technical documentation, such as:
- Working knowledge of satellite systems and spacecraft engineering with the ability to understand and interpret subsystem documentation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to consolidate information from multiple technical sources into a clear and consistent narrative.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Strong working knowledge of satellite systems and spacecraft engineering documentation is required.
