Responsibilities

- Leidos' Defense Systems Land Systems is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead a team of systems engineers developing an interceptor system.
- In this role, the Senior Systems Engineer will lead the systems engineering effort.
- The Senior Systems Engineer will work in a matrixed organization, which supports multiple programs at once in a variety of engineering fields with all different team environments.
- When the interceptor program ends, the Senior Systems Engineer will have the opportunity to support a different program in the matrixed engineering portfolio.
Requirements
- Experience in deriving requirements for integration, manufacturing, and production systems.
- Possess a secret clearance, or have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Nice to have
- Preferred candidates will also have experience and/or working knowledge with: MagicDraw and/or other Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) modeling tools Demonstrated experience effectively leading a team of engineers.
- Demonstrated cross-discipline collaboration.
- Demonstrated experience accurately estimating the engineering effort (i.e. hours) associated with Systems Engineering tasks.

Compensation
- Pay Range $131,300.00 - $237,350.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
