About the role

  • Position Description The head women's water polo coach is responsible for establishing an effective team program for student-athletes to have a positive intercollegiate athletics experience.
  • A head coach must demonstrate exceptional administrative and technical coaching skills and emphasize the whole-person development of student-athletes within their program to see them empowered, transformed, and thriving.
  • As such, this person may not speak against or act in a manner inconsistent with these positions during the course of their employment at Biola.

  • Assist in helping to promote the team and its success to the greater student body to help foster positive school spirit.
  • Oversee the operational budget, purchases, expense reconciliations, and travel arrangements for the program in alignment with all institutional, conference, and NCAA regulations.
  • Recommend student-athletes to receive awards based on conference and national office policies.
  • Collaborate with the laundry attendant regarding the schedule, inventory, issuance, and maintenance of equipment and uniforms per institutional policies and best practices.
