About the role

Located at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, the JNWC is the DOD's Center of Excellence for Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) and PNT capabilities integration.
Your work will directly impact joint planning, Operation Plan (OPLAN) analysis, and the execution of NAVWAR operations across all domains and military operations.
This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on national security by ensuring PNT superiority and supporting the warfighter with cutting-edge NAVWAR solutions.

You will interface development and create software algorithms and models for simulation, while researching state-of-the-art signal processing algorithms.
You will play a crucial role in reverse engineering existing NAVWAR signal processing solutions, ensuring that system requirements are synthesized, allocated, and derived to create a fully defined and mission-compliant system architecture.
You shall support the development and implementation of client requirements for RF solutions, including services, products, technologies, and capabilities tailored for airborne mission environments.

What You Can Expect:
Bachelor of Science (BS) in an engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering) or a related field. 
Required:
Security Clearance: Must possess an active Interim Secret clearance with eligibility to upgrade to Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) in an engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering) or a related field. 
Research and Development Experience: Proven experience in researching and developing multi-function small form factor payloads for NAVWAR-based missions. 
Algorithmic Modeling: Demonstrated ability to develop and analyze models of novel algorithmic concepts to produce distributed electronic sensing effects for NAVWAR payloads.
Leadership Experience: Prior leadership or management experience in higher-level roles, showcasing the ability to lead teams and projects effectively. 

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$71,500 - $150,200
