About the role

  • Associate Data Engineer Westlake, OH Job Description As this role requires on-site work, out of our Creative Studios in Westlake, Ohio, we will focus on candidates that currently reside in Northeast Ohio.
  • This role works closely with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot data issues, enhance datasets, and contribute to scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot data issues, fulfill data requests, and improve existing datasets
  • Support the development and maintenance of ELT pipelines, including adding and integrating new data sources
  • Contribute to documentation of data pipelines, processes, and best practices to support knowledge sharing

Skills

  • Foundational proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar
  • Basic SQL skills for data querying and transformation
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and command line tools
  • Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Foundational knowledge of software engineering principles (OOP, SDLC, Agile methodologies)
  • Internship or academic project experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related field
