About the role
- Associate Data Engineer Westlake, OH Job Description As this role requires on-site work, out of our Creative Studios in Westlake, Ohio, we will focus on candidates that currently reside in Northeast Ohio.
- This role works closely with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot data issues, enhance datasets, and contribute to scalable data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot data issues, fulfill data requests, and improve existing datasets
- Support the development and maintenance of ELT pipelines, including adding and integrating new data sources
- Contribute to documentation of data pipelines, processes, and best practices to support knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field
Skills
- Foundational proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar
- Basic SQL skills for data querying and transformation
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and command line tools
- Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Foundational knowledge of software engineering principles (OOP, SDLC, Agile methodologies)
- Internship or academic project experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related field
- Exposure to modern data platforms and cloud ecosystems (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI)
- Relevant certifications in data engineering, cloud platforms, or analytics
