About the role

- As a sole contributor, the District Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales success within a dynamic and supportive team.
- Reporting to the Sales Manager Alberta, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and fostering strong relationships with our Retail customers in your territory.
Responsibilities
- Increase the overall distribution of our core and agency brands in retail stores, private stores, and support licensees.
- Develop sales objectives and oversee activities at all retail outlets to ensure success.
- Manage the introduction of new products to the market.
- Implement merchandising and promotional programs in line with national and regional strategies.
- Maintain call account tracking, administrative reports, and manage shelving and display programs.
- Define and implement a commercial plan aligned with our strategy, considering both short and long-term market characteristics.
- Assess, recommend, implement, and evaluate commercial activities to optimize performance and ensure excellence in execution.
- Design, manage, and optimize contracts, prices, and trade terms to drive profitability and sustainable growth.
- Capture and leverage consumer insights to develop actions that appeal to consumer needs.
- Analyze information to make effective recommendations and develop operational actions.
Requirements
- Travel required within the territory and provincial sales meetings.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team player.
- Valid driver's license in good standing. Company vehicle provided.

Skills
- What you bring:
- Minimum of 2 years of related outside sales experience.
- 3+ years of related experience in the wine and spirits industry is an asset.
- University degree or relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
Compensation
- The salary range for this role is $54,080.00 to $67,600.00.
