About the role
- Work in a highly cross functional team in a fast-paced environment.
- Execute tests utilizing high voltage electrical test equipment.
Responsibilities
- The Contractor, Employee Pilot Build Assembly & Laboratory Technician supports prototype and pilot builds and validation testing for next-generation EV charging equipment.
- The role assembles mechanical/electrical subassemblies and test hardware, documents test activities and defects, and helps maintain lab/build quality standards and work instructions.
- Maintain build quality standards and ensure best practices are followed in all build activities.
- Maintain all lab equipment and provide a professional working environment on the shop floor.
- Collaborate with Engineering on writing build procedures and work instructions for various mechanical and electrical assemblies.
- Develop and fabricate mechanical fixtures or jigs for test stages.
- Build high voltage electrical test boxes and harnesses to support testing.
- Support validation test & builds for next generation Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment for both consumer facing and commercial products.
