About the role
- Opens and closes Lab at shift end and ensures equipment is stored in proper location to secure HVAC Technology Lab.
- Utilizes College approved contractors to ensure proper handling of hazardous materials.
Responsibilities
- Laboratory Technical Support
- Answers routine questions, provides general information, and performs duties as assigned to maintain good public and student relations.
Requirements
- High School Degree or GED with technical or vocational construction training.
- 1 to 3 years of progressively responsible experience in various construction trades.
- State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).
- Completes and maintains required documentation, including inventory reports, work orders, and requisitions.
- Other duties as required.
- Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance is required.

- Stores tools following use.
- Cleans tools, equipment and floor.
- Notifies supervisor(s) when tools and equipment replacement is necessary.
- Monitors the lab's inventory and tools.

- Maintains and provides tools and equipment, performs diagnostic service and minor repairs, and performs other functions to support applied technology laboratory.
