About the role

Halt production processes if critical product defects are identified to prevent nonconforming material from reaching customers.
Train and mentor team members in quality control methodologies, statistical analysis, and analytical procedures.
Generate detailed reports on nonconformance of products or processes, root cause analyses, and quality trends for management and stakeholders.

We employ Lean manufacturing techniques to optimize manufacturing efficiency and accuracy on all product lines.

Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to evaluate product quality, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor and maintain quality control systems to ensure their effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
Support and participate in audits conducted by Defense, Aerospace, and Customer Auditors, ensuring compliance with industry and customer requirements.
Develop and implement a roadmap for continuous improvement by establishing priorities, methods, and strategies for implementation, using data to guide the process and monitor results.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain Control Plans, PFMEAs, and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) to mitigate risks and improve processes.

Proficiency in Lean Principles and Implementation Tools
Familiarity with Minitab
ASQC Quality Engineer Certification
Working Conditions:
Standard office environment
Work requires substantial visual concentration on detail
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE

$115,000.00 - $135,400.00
Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications.
