About the role
- Halt production processes if critical product defects are identified to prevent nonconforming material from reaching customers.
- Train and mentor team members in quality control methodologies, statistical analysis, and analytical procedures.
- Generate detailed reports on nonconformance of products or processes, root cause analyses, and quality trends for management and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- We employ Lean manufacturing techniques to optimize manufacturing efficiency and accuracy on all product lines.

- Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to evaluate product quality, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and maintain quality control systems to ensure their effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
- Support and participate in audits conducted by Defense, Aerospace, and Customer Auditors, ensuring compliance with industry and customer requirements.
- Develop and implement a roadmap for continuous improvement by establishing priorities, methods, and strategies for implementation, using data to guide the process and monitor results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain Control Plans, PFMEAs, and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) to mitigate risks and improve processes.

Nice to have
- Proficiency in Lean Principles and Implementation Tools
- Familiarity with Minitab
- ASQC Quality Engineer Certification
- Working Conditions:
- Standard office environment
- Work requires substantial visual concentration on detail
- Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
- Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
Compensation
- $115,000.00 - $135,400.00
- Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications.
