Responsibilities
- Maintains engineering group product quality and productivity at a high level to support station operation.
- Interfacing and establishing effective communication between groups to support delivery of quality products that support station operations.
- The purpose of this position is to manage one of the following branches of the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station's (SSES) Engineering Department.
- Primary responsibilities of the Branch Manager are to achieve high levels of department performance by providing the engineering group priorities and direction, coordination and management of SSES Engineering program/procedure requirements, approval of technical products, maintenance of regulatory commitments, and resolution of complex technical issues consistent with plant licensing and design bases.
- Specific responsibilities include work planning, scheduling of group resources, employee development, and work group coordination to support the timely and quality resolution of technical, operational, and regulatory issues.
Requirements
- BS Degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences
- 7-8 years of responsible nuclear power plant experience.
- Knowledge of nuclear plant systems and interrelations, including training and certification programs.
- Candidates must meet the basic qualifications and pass all required tests or assessments to receive consideration.
