Responsibilities
- Act as local module lead for US timezone operations
- Perform deep debugging using logs, code analysis, and system behavior
- Identify root causes of production issues and drive resolution
- Develop and deploy small hotfixes with alignment from India teams
- Collaborate with PSM, Product Support, CSMs, and Sales for issue triage

- The engineer will act as the first line of deep technical support, triaging production issues, debugging across services, and coordinating with India teams for fixes and improvements.
Skills
- Strong backend development experience (Java / Python / Node.js or similar)
- Deep understanding of APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Expertise in debugging production issues (logs, tracing, DB queries)
- Solid understanding of databases (SQL/Mongo DB)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release processes
- Ability to work across time zones with offshore teams
- Exposure to Benefits domain or HRTech systems
- Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Cloud-watch, etc.)
- Prior experience in production support-heavy environments
- Strong ownership mindset
- Excellent communication (client-facing interactions)
- Calm under pressure during incidents
