About the role
- We're looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven Engineering Manager to lead the Personalize Intelligence team.
- You will lead the team that develops and owns the machine-learning behind Adyen Checkout optimization: our real-time, decision engine that helps merchants to increase their shopper conversion rate to boost seamless checkout experience.
- It is also the cornerstone of Adyen Uplift, a powerful AI product suite to optimize holistically for conversion, fraud and cost that is used by many of Adyen's customers today.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Personalize Intelligence team with hands-on technical leadership, driving architecture strategy and raising the bar through active mentoring and technical guidance.
- Have a multiplier effect by motivating team members and providing coaching in areas including but not limited to: engineering best practices, scalable architecture design, product roadmap discussions.
- Maintain an inclusive team culture focused on autonomy, ownership, collaboration, communication, and impact.
- Collaborate with different teams to design and implement new services with reliability/infra/data/dev in mind.
- Create an inspiring and collaborative team environment with an open communication/feedback culture.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a ML/AI tech environment.
- You'll have direct access to massive global datasets (e.g., payments, identity data) and the ability to see your team's work have an immediate impact at scale.

Compensation
- The annual base salary range for this role is $207,000 - $279,000 plus RSUs; to learn more about our compensation philosophy, please click here.
