About the role

Responsibilities
- Instructors develop learner-centered instructional strategies, collaborative curriculum and assessments for continuous improvement.
- Plan, develop, and implement appropriate instructional strategies, including alternative delivery strategies when appropriate.
- Research, develop, and administer skills assessments before, during and after courses and services with an emphasis on evaluating student performance in courses taught by the instructor.
- Work closely with the College's Business and Industry Services division to support the training needs of business partners and/or clients.
- Maintain competencies as an instructor as aligned with the Faculty Quality Assurance System.
- Develop and implement strategies aimed at the retention of students of color, female students, English Language Learners ( ELL ), and students with disabilities.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Two (2) years or 4,000 hours of work experience with live animals with a variety of species.
