About the role

  • We're looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our Client Solutions Engineering team.
  • This is a high-ownership role that blends product engineering, integrations work, and hands-on client problem-solving.
  • Respond to production alerts and incidents, diagnose root causes, and fix fast - all while keeping impacted clients informed.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and ship features across our platform, including our third-party integrations and internal tooling that makes the rest of the company faster.
  • Own production changes end-to-end: scope the work in Jira, drive peer and lead review, and verify results in production.
  • Support dealer onboarding and launches: collaborate with Account Managers and dealer group personnel to set up integrations, make changes to phone systems, and test the product ahead of go-live.
  • Partner directly with client-facing teams (sales, account management) as an escalation point - jumping on client calls when needed and helping teammates navigate tough technical conversations.
  • Experience building and supporting third-party API integrations, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Comfort operating in a live-ops environment: on-call / alert response, careful change management, and verifying your own work.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills - you can explain technical issues to non-technical clients and internal teams with patience and clarity.

Nice to have

  • Automotive retail / dealership software experience (DMS, service scheduling, CRM platforms).
  • Cloud infrastructure experience (Azure preferred).
  • Experience with frontend development using TypeScript and React.
  • Experience working with AI/LLM-based products, including prompt management workflows.
  • Compensation for this position will be competitive with current market rates and reflective of the candidate's experience, skills and qualifications.
  • Our strength comes from diverse experiences, perspectives, and skills, and we're proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
  • Passionate about the role but don't tick every box?
  • We'd still love to hear from you, you might be exactly who we need.

Compensation

  • Compensation for this position will be competitive with current market rates and reflective of the candidate's experience, skills and qualifications.

Benefits

  • Equity participation through stock options.
  • Fully paid health, vision & dental insurance for employees.
  • Free lunches, parking stipend provided, team events, and a casual, but get things done culture.
  • Flexible PTO and hybrid schedule (3 days / week in downtown Austin).

Equal opportunity

  • At Mia, we're committed to a workplace where everyone is valued, included, and empowered to do their best work. Our strength comes from diverse experiences, perspectives, and skills, and we're proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
