Responsibilities
- Execute Product & Technology roadmaps to develop differentiated product vs. competitive landscape.
- Work cross functionally with supply chain and operations team to prioritize projects and support resource allocation.
- Responsible for design intent of all engineering decisions, ensuring proper design considerations for compliance, company standards, customer requirements, and overall engineering principles.
- Lead compliance team in participation of applicable industry standard committees, round tables, and overall events.
- Build culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team.
- Set clear expectations with the team & drive accountability.
- Manage overall engineering department budget and identify resources to achieve desired department objectives.
- Build high performing teams with continuous coaching, mentoring, teaching and talent development.
- Develop succession plans for key roles within the group.
- Proven ownership of new product development (NPD) and sustaining engineering lifecycles, from concept through launch and field support.
