About the role
- This position focuses on the deployment, integration, sustainment, and troubleshooting of containerized applications running on an on-premises Kubernetes platform, primarily utilizing Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG).
- The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong Linux, Kubernetes, and Docker experience who can independently contribute to a fast-paced engineering team supporting highly available and secure mission systems.
- Monitor application and platform health using centralized logging, monitoring, and observability solutions.

Nice to have
- Experience administering or supporting Tanzu Kubernetes Grid.
- Experience with Argo CD and GitOps deployment methodologies.Experience with Trivy, SonarQube, Fortify, CAST, or similar security tools.
- Experience with container security and DevSecOps best practices.
- Experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible or similar tools.
- Experience supporting missile defense, command-and-control, or other mission-critical defense systems.
- Bachelor degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Systems Integration, Linux Engineering, or related disciplines preferred.
- DOD 8570 REQUIREMENT: IAT - Level II
Skills
- Hands-on experience supporting Kubernetes environments, preferably Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG).
- Experience deploying and supporting containerized applications using Docker.
- Experience creating and maintaining Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and deployment pipelines.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with application monitoring, centralized logging, and observability platforms.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute immediately in a hands-on engineering role
- Experience supporting classified DoD development, integration, or operations environments.
