About the role

  • The Managing Director of Commercial Private Credit is an execution-focused role responsible for driving consistent deal flow and contributing meaningfully to the growth of a high-performing credit origination platform.
  • This role is based in South Florida with specific coverage of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
  • The candidate will originate, structure, and execute transactions by leveraging deep and expanding relationships with business owners, C-suite executives, private equity sponsors, financial institutions, and other key referral sources.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with companies, financial sponsors and strategic advisors.
  • Partner with underwriting and risk teams.
  • Partner with senior leadership on growth initiatives.
  • Independently manage and consistently meet your funding targets and goals.

Requirements

  • 20 years in commercial lending or private credit.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to self-source opportunities in assigned market channel.
  • Strong and proven track record of deal origination and execution.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills required.
  • Ability to work well with a variety of people at all levels of the organization.
  • 10 - 20 years in commercial lending or private credit.
  • Deep understanding of the financial markets and alternative financing.
  • Strong South Florida market network.
  • MBA Preferred
  • Salary Range: $175K-$225K

  • In addition to individual production, the Director is expected to enhance market coverage, deepen key relationships, and contribute to the firm's expanding presence in South Florida, while supporting broader team initiatives and mentoring junior professionals as needed.
