About the role
- include monitoring automated systems, ensuring product quality, maintaining equipment performance, and adhering to Tyson safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Requires flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- All applicants must complete the final task that is separate from the application.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with receiving, production, and loadout teams to maintain workflow
- Perform quality checks (visual, moisture, odor) and support QA/HACCP programs
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor maintenance and system resets (breakers, drives, controls)
- Maintain clean work areas and follow all sanitation and safety requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 months continuous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or landscaping environment
- Minimum of 6 months continuous work history within the past 2 years
- Mechanical and technical aptitude required
- Ability to operate machinery and computerized control systems
- Forklift experience or ability to obtain certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, rendering, or food processing preferred
