About the role
- Under general supervision, supports the ongoing implementation and sustainment of health and safety programs focused on protecting workers by minimizing health and safety hazards at all company workplaces and project jobsites.
Responsibilities
- Maintains, tracks and monitors all incident and investigation reports
- Collaborates with Field personnel on ergonomics, material handling processes and other tasks that can be modified to simpler, quicker and safer processes
- Provides support to the warehouse with safety equipment inspections and recertifications/calibrations of equipment
- Performs other duties as requested
- Performs other duties as requested; duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
- Ability to support and manage safety on multiple project sites
Requirements
- Occasional climbing and/or lifting (30+ lbs.) Travel required to work sites.
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
Skills
- Ability to write routine correspondence such as letters and memos.
- Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal and/or external clients of the firm.
- Reasoning Ability and/or Critical Thinking:
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instruction.
- Constructive thinking and alternative short- to long-term solutions must be considered.
- Action plans must be developed and implemented.
