Requirements

  • Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders and audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize data.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in internal and external teams with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency.
  • Completed at least three years of accredited college/university level coursework
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and task management abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced remote work environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Desired Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work within established brand guidelines.
  • Eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a fast-paced in-house creative team.

Intern Project: The purpose of this Brand Implementation & Graphic Design Intern who can support the Marketing & Communications creative team with a variety of graphic design tasks while playing a key role in CALSTART's organization-wide rebrand. This intern will gain hands-on experience implementing a comprehensive brand system across multiple marketing channels while developing professional design skills in a collaborative creative environment. This internship will provide meaningful support during CALSTART's organization-wide rebrand while offering an emerging designer valuable hands-on experience implementing and maintaining a comprehensive visual identity system. The intern will work closely with the creative team to update branded materials, organize design assets, and help ensure consistency across the organization's marketing and communications efforts.
  • Intern Project Key Deliverables:
  • Brand Implementation: Assist in applying CALSTART's new visual identity across marketing materials, presentations, templates, digital assets, and other branded communications.
  • Brand Guidelines Maintenance: Support the ongoing development, organization, and implementation of brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all business areas.
