About the role

12-Month Fixed-Term Consultancy | Part-time (16-20 hours per week) | Remote (US-based) About the Role Our Common Home is a fast-growing global network comprising 20 entities worldwide.
Structurally, this requires an overarching global governance framework that aligns the decentralised network with the core legal and fiduciary standards of the network's founding entity, the Swiss Association.

Operating in a strictly advisory and capacity-building role, the successful candidate will focus on the following areas: Assist in designing and deploying a global governance framework that standardises core operational rules across all 20 network entities, ensuring their local activities remain fully compliant with the reporting, legal and fiduciary expectations of the Swiss Association.
Design and structure standard operating procedures for sub-grantee management, including sub-grantee vetting workflows, due diligence frameworks and risk-mitigation measures.
The Consultant will provide recommendations, frameworks, tools and capacity building.
Extensive experience reviewing and updating organisational governance documents, including procurement, anti-fraud and anti-bribery policies.

Over 10 years of compliance, operations and grants administration experience within the international non-profit/NGO sector.
A proven track record of establishing compliance functions, managing cradle-to-grave grants administration and leading risk mitigation initiatives.
Strong collaborative and cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to advise executive leadership, finance and fundraising teams effectively.
No international or domestic travel is required.

Serve as a strategic advisor on risk identification and mitigation, helping the network establish a proactive risk management approach.

About You We are looking for an experienced compliance professional who brings: Over 10 years of compliance, operations and grants administration experience within the international non-profit/NGO sector.
Experience supporting compliance, governance or grants management across multiple countries and working with decentralised international organisations or networks.
