The coach will recruit and mentor student-athletes who can thrive academically, socially, and athletically at Northland.
Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Develop and implement a structured practice schedule that supports individual and team development.
Establish and maintain high standards of conduct, discipline, and team culture.
Manage program budgets, purchasing, and financial processes in accordance with Minnesota State and Northland policies.
Hire, supervise, and evaluate assistant coaches and support staff.
Assist in generating additional funds to support program needs.
Build strong relationships with high school coaches, alumni, and community partners.
Demonstrated ability to recruit and develop student-athletes.

Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Experience coaching softball at the high school, college, or club level.
Knowledge of softball techniques, training methods, and competition strategies.
Master's degree.
Knowledge of NJCAA eligibility rules and community college athletics.
Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel extensively for recruiting and competitions.
