About the role

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • Construction Administration & Documentation Support
  • Maintain and organize construction documentation for multiple concurrent projects
  • Maintain accurate document control processes, version tracking, and construction records
  • Support preparation and compilation of project closeout documentation and turnover packages
  • Schedule and support construction meetings, including preparation of agendas and meeting minutes
  • Track action items, document updates, and project correspondence
  • Compliance & Administrative Support
  • Support QA/QC documentation and inspection record management

Requirements

  • Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • At least 2 years of experience in construction administration with demonstrated experience supporting document control, project coordination, field engineering, or related construction support activities

Nice to have

  • Active Secret security clearance required
  • Top Secret clearance preferred.
  • Associate degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering Technology, or related field required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting federal construction projects, DoD environments, military facilities, or government contracting preferred

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, compliance tracking, contract documentation, and construction administration processes
  • Soft Skills & Competencies
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong coordination and collaboration skills in a fast-paced construction environment
