About the role
- The Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) provides operations support services and business solutions to the community of 10,000 House Members, Officers and staff.
- Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Minimum 5 years of experience designing and supporting large scale campus LAN/ WAN and wireless networks. Knowledge of TCP, UDP, QoS, SNMP, TLS/HTTPS, SMTP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP. Experience with Aruba wireless access hardware ideal but not required.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing and supporting large scale campus LAN/ WAN and wireless networks.
- Knowledge of TCP, UDP, QoS, SNMP, TLS/HTTPS, SMTP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
- Experience with Aruba wireless access hardware ideal but not required.
- Demonstrate proficiency with managing large scale enterprise networks using Cisco's routing and switching best practices.
- Knowledge, Skill, and Ability (KSA) and Competency
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with elected officials, senior staff, information systems professional, and non-technical users.
- Knowledge of Emerging Trends and Industry Best Practices
Nice to have
- CCNA or CCNP preferred.
- Continued employment is contingent upon satisfactorily completing a criminal history records check (or other applicable security clearance) and a pre-employment drug-test (pre-identified position only).
- Certifications: CCNA or CCNP preferred.
Skills
- Skill in the coordination of network engineering and integration projects.
Compensation
- $109k-$137k
