About the role

  • The Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) provides operations support services and business solutions to the community of 10,000 House Members, Officers and staff.
  • Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Minimum 5 years of experience designing and supporting large scale campus LAN/ WAN and wireless networks. Knowledge of TCP, UDP, QoS, SNMP, TLS/HTTPS, SMTP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP. Experience with Aruba wireless access hardware ideal but not required.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience designing and supporting large scale campus LAN/ WAN and wireless networks.
  • Knowledge of TCP, UDP, QoS, SNMP, TLS/HTTPS, SMTP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
  • Experience with Aruba wireless access hardware ideal but not required.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with managing large scale enterprise networks using Cisco's routing and switching best practices.
  • Knowledge, Skill, and Ability (KSA) and Competency
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with elected officials, senior staff, information systems professional, and non-technical users.
  • Knowledge of Emerging Trends and Industry Best Practices

Nice to have

  • CCNA or CCNP preferred.
  • Continued employment is contingent upon satisfactorily completing a criminal history records check (or other applicable security clearance) and a pre-employment drug-test (pre-identified position only).
  • Certifications: CCNA or CCNP preferred.

Skills

  • Skill in the coordination of network engineering and integration projects.

Compensation

  • $109k-$137k
