About the role
- Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS) is currently seeking an Engineer to join our team!
- As a company, we provide a wide range of leading-edge engineering, management, and digital services to the public and private sectors.
- This position will be responsible for working in a team environment, geared toward the development, prototyping, manufacturing, testing and mass production of small caliber munitions.
Nice to have
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a clearance through the DoD security background investigation process
- Pass drug and alcohol testing
- Must have good mechanical skills and at minimum 5 years of experience
- Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
- Knowledge of manufacturing principles and processes
- Experience with engineering software, including Creo CAD
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- High standard of quality and efficiency
Skills
- This position will be a key member of the Small Caliber Munitions or Medium Caliber Munitions Division.
- Duties include:
- Prepare designs using 3D CAD (Creo) modeling software
- Write test plans and work closely with testing groups
- Support travel as needed up to 25%
