About the role

  • As the Head of Brand Creative, you will be the steward of Phantom's visual identity and storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • This role is ideal for a creative design leader who thrives at the intersection of brand, culture, and consumer products.
  • Define and evolve our brand's creative design strategy, ensuring it differentiates us in the crypto and consumer finance space.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of brand designers, fostering creativity, collaboration, and professional development.
  • Build and enforce brand guidelines, ensuring visual and verbal alignment across product, marketing, and communications.
  • Partner with marketing, product, comms, and leadership to align brand creative with business objectives and user insights.
  • Bring forward fresh ideas, cultural relevance, and breakthrough creative that builds trust while making crypto approachable to a mainstream audience.
  • Use feedback, insights, and performance data to refine creative strategies and deliver impact at scale.
  • We currently support Solana, Ethereum, Polygon and Bitcoin with more networks to come in the new future.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in brand design and at least 3 of those years leading creative teams
  • Proven experience managing and scaling high-performing creative teams.
  • Strong grasp of cultural trends, with the ability to translate them into brand-relevant creative.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, you can inspire both your team and executive stakeholders.
  • By ensuring that a user has a great first-time experience with crypto, we can help supercharge the growth of the entire ecosystem.
  • Bonus points if in consumer finance, fintech, crypto or consumer tech.
  • A visionary creative thinker with a strong portfolio demonstrating brand-building, campaign execution, and cross-channel design.
  • Expertise across design disciplines such as visual, brand and motion.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities.

  • The target base salary for this role will range between $270,000 to $320,000 with the addition of equity and benefits.
