About the role
- We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Electromechanic to join our team.

- At all times enforce Diageo health and safety, environmental and food safety standards, and work to all applicable legislative procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and organized workplace environment through alignment to the Safety and 5S MMS practices.
- Support TLS & Operators to build asset care and RCPS capability.
Requirements
- Accountable to ensure all assigned Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules are carried out at the defined frequency and completed to the required standard.
- Coach operators to perform autonomous maintenance tasks, machine set ups optimization and support growth in equipment capability as required.
- Support capital work, including installation, commissioning and testing within area as required.
- Attend all Tier 1 meetings, supply to the agenda and complete actions as required.
- must be always aware of surroundings.
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, and bend for extended periods.
Skills
- Prefer to have completed a recognized apprenticeship or gained a mechanical or electrical degree.
- 5+ years' experience performing maintenance tasks in a manufacturing facility.
- Higher National Certificate level qualification or equivalent within an FMCG industry.
- Experience - Essential
- Numerical/verbal reasoning, Computer literate
- Understanding of asset performance and maintenance philosophy with excellent process improvement and root cause problem solving skills.
- Multi-Skilled in electrical and mechanical.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Has strength of character to challenge non-adherence to standards and policies.
- Raises problems.
- Is an ambassador for continuous improvement.
- Responds to change in a positive and flexible manner.
Compensation
- IS FROM $49,070 TO $81,783 (ANNUAL)
- At Diageo certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual incentive payment and stock awards.
