About the role

  • The Electrical Estimator reports to the Team Leader and is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
  • This role evaluates labor, materials, subcontractor, and equipment costs for commercial and industrial projects, including low‑voltage and fire alarm systems.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and buyouts for electrical construction projects

Responsibilities

  • Perform quantity takeoffs and develop conceptual, budgetary, and detailed estimates
  • Maintain vendor, subcontractor, and supplier relationships to support competitive pricing
  • Collaborate with management by providing estimates for planning, scheduling, and decision‑making

Requirements

  • 5 + years estimating electrical commercial construction projects required

  • Ability to work independently as well as in team environment
  • Ability to present in a professional manner and represent the company image
  • Work is performed primarily in an office environment.
  • Office work requires sitting for periods of time and use of a computer keyboard and screen.
  • Th is role stands, walks and may move boxes of files and records weighing 30 pounds or less.
