About the role

  • This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, along with discretion, research abilities, and professionalism.
  • The Executive Correspondence and Research Associate will report to the Deputy Chief of Staff and work closely with the entire Executive Office.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Deputy Chief of Staff to design, draft, and implement response strategies.
  • Research issues that appear in correspondence and/or that are necessary to support a response.
  • Conduct research to support additional preparation materials as needed for executive support, including gathering and organizing relevant background documents or supporting materials.
  • Provide Support for the executive briefing book and memo processes, helping ensure materials are organized, current, and ready ahead of key meetings and engagements.

Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of experience in government, non-profit, or corporate communications, or executive support-ideally in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize information quickly and accurately.
  • Experience with communication tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Slack, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Work Environment & Physical Demands:
  • This role may require occasional travel for team retreats, conferences, or organizational meetings.

  • This is an exempt full time position with a salary range of $72,100 - $90,000. This role is overtime eligible.
