About the role

  • This position reports to the COO, Americas and is responsible for directing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance operations for aircraft wheels and brakes.
  • The Operations Manager ensures all work meets FAA, EASA, OEM, and internal quality standards, while maintaining a strong safety culture.
  • If necessary, the Operations Manager will also coordinate with other MRO facilities within the TP Aerospace organization to achieve operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage all scheduled and unscheduled wheels and brake maintenance operations, including urgent materials, inspections, machine operation and facility maintenance
  • Manage and oversee company's ERP system data accordingly in areas specific to program material prioritization, inventory, budgeting

Requirements

  • Must be able to be certified under 14 CFR Part 65
  • Proven management experience in aviation operations or maintenance environments with supervising responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, federal regulations (FAA, EASA), logistics management, and safety protocols
  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering or another technical discipline
  • Knowledge and understanding of FAA Repair Stations operations
  • Must have experience in aircraft maintenance required: 4 years.

Nice to have

  • Proficient in both verbal and written English
  • Spanish skills a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • ERP/maintenance, Quantum software experience (preferred)

  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
