- As the Tech Lead / Senior Software Engineer for the Yobi Ad Platform, you'll be responsible for leading the design and implementation of the systems that power our real-time ML-based advertising stack.
- This is a senior role where you will own a major product bet, mentor other engineers, and drive architectural direction-while still spending more than half of your time building.
- You know when to empower/influence another person or team, and when to roll up your sleeves and implement it yourself
- You can design clean interfaces, modular service boundaries, and deployment patterns that scale with product and team growth.
- You lead by example, elevate those around you, and turn ambiguity into clarity and action.
Requirements
- You have experience leading multi-person or even multi-team projects.
- You balance strong technical standards with pragmatism-you know when to ship and when to refactor.
Nice to have
- Deep systems experience.
- You've built or scaled distributed, high-throughput, low-latency systems-ideally in advertising, recommendations, or another real-time domain.
Skills
- The work spans real-time bidding systems, cloud-native infrastructure, and reproducible deployment tooling.
Compensation
- $225,000-$300,000
- A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range at the time of posting is below.
