Responsibilities
- Manage the pre-construction and construction phases of the OSP project - deliver on time, on budget, and within quality and safety standards.
- Manage the Relocations projects preconstruction work, construction activities and closeout.
- Managing relationships with jurisdictions and ROW contacts such as cities, counties and railroad. Working in close relationship with underlying rights group to identify and prepare encroachment permitting, franchise agreements and building access agreement.
- Creates and tracks project budgets in relationship to Network Operations.
- As part of the application, hiring, onboarding, and/or employment process, Zayo or its affiliates, partners, and vendors may collect, store, and use biometric identifiers and biometric information (collectively, "Biometric Data"), such as fingerprints, facial geometry scans or other unique biological characteristics.
Requirements
- Must be conversant/have working knowledge of structured cabling, routing, switching, and IP protocols.
- Minimum of four (4) years familiarity with all types of outside plant construction and experience managing large capital projects required.
- Must be able to manage multiple aggressive RFP and design construction schedules and responses.
- Must be able to understand and read construction documents.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and is expected to drive as required to his/her assigned projects to ensure on time and on budget delivery.
- Required to occasionally meet with various municipalities and vendors to review project scope and to ensure positive communication is maintained.
- Some local travel will be required - up to 40%.
- Minimum of seven (7) years in the telecommunications industry with outside plant, fiber optics, telecommunication architectures, optical transport equipment, and project management experience.
- Familiar with Email, MS Excel, Word, Google Earth.
- Familiar with all facets of OSP management, including quoting, construction and delivery.
- Business minded and able to maintain a commercial focus.
- Must perform on-site surveys and attend field meetings required to ensure projects meet the delivery/ commitment dates identified.
- Full ability and willingness to pull on call duty when assigned, as dictated by the needs of the business.

Compensation
- $77,100 - $118,600 USD/annually
