Responsibilities
- Supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems and inspection processes across manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Assist Lead Quality Engineer and Director of Quality on the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Review customer contracts/specifications, design documents, purchase orders, and other documents to ensure that customer and regulatory requirements are met
- Support incoming audits, such as customer, regulatory, and registrar audits
Requirements
- Experience with Quality industry standards (ISO9001:2015, AS9100D, ISO/IEC 17025, NQA-1, 10CFR50 Appendix B, ISO 19443, ASME Section III, ISO 80079-34, etc.)
- Experience with investigating quality issues in a methodical manner ultimately resulting in a report that identifies containment, root cause, and corrective and preventative actions
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to access manufacturing and warehouse environments
- Ability to sit, stand, and use computer systems for extended periods.
- Other related duties as required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or other Technical Field with at least four (4) years Quality experience in regulated industries such as Nuclear, Aerospace, or Medical (equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered).
- Able to plan, control, and assure product and process quality in accordance with quality principles, which include planning processes, material control, acceptance sampling, and measurement systems
- Have basic knowledge of reliability, maintainability, and risk management, including key terms and definitions, modeling, systems design, assessment tools, and reporting
- Excellent technical writing, oral communication, and presentation skills for reporting and briefing Customers and Senior Leadership
- Physical requirements may include lifting to 50 pounds.
Compensation
- $83,000 - 111,800 annually
- Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only.
