  • Incumbent is responsible for: - Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery, assist in the installation of new filling, packaging machinery and processing equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare job material lists and perform job costing regarding material and labor requirements.
  • Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner paying special attention to hazards to which production personnel may be susceptible. Maintain good housekeeping in areas of work.
  • Perform installation and repair of various process pumps.
  • Perform job responsibilities in such a manner as to contribute to a team effort within the department assisting fellow employees in achieving the overall daily objectives of the work group.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • This position is primarily responsible for Emergency repairs, Preventive Maintenance, collaboration on continuous improvement (CI) projects and general Process support in a manufacturing environment.
  • As a licensed millwright, under the direction of the Maintenance Team Lead, maintain processing, filling and packaging, related equipment in proper and safe operating condition.
  • Requisition materials and parts necessary to maintain machinery and equipment.

Requirements

  • Ability to work varying shifts based on plant scheduling.
  • Industrial Millwright license required.
  • Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, pipefitting
  • Experience in manufacturing, preferably 2.
  • 3 years or more related to the packaged goods industry.
  • shift assignments as required.

Compensation

  • The expected base salary range for this position is between 44.24 CAD - 44.24 CAD.
