About the role
- Overview POSITION PURPOSE: The Broadband Field Technician I is responsible for installing, modifying, repairing, and disconnecting cable services, including video, data, and telephone.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Install, splice, and terminate fiber-optic and Coax cables and connectors in both indoor and outdoor settings.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks to verify the functionality and performance of the installed fiber optic/and or coax connections.

- Requires ability to travel and drive to job sites daily.

- Positively represent MasTec Advanced Technologies and our Partner to our customers with consistent professionalism, showing ID and being properly dressed in uniform.
- Perform general clerical work such as filing, copying, mailing, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Overtime and weekend work is highly possible and may be expected in order to perform the essential functions of the position.

- Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Must have, prior to, and throughout employment, an acceptable background and current, valid driver's license to commute to customer homes.
Compensation
- $50k-$70k
