About the role
- This role sits at the intersection of financial discipline and marketplace behavior, and is accountable for designing and optimizing the pay and incentive systems that motivate Dashers while delivering strong business outcomes at efficient spend.
- You will translate company and regional goals into clear pay strategies, balancing Dasher earnings, platform competitiveness, and cost efficiency.
- You will serve as a key decision-maker across critical pay levers, including base pay structures, incentive programs, and regional pay optimization.
Responsibilities
- You will lead structured analyses to identify inefficiencies, model the impact of pay changes, and drive durable improvements in spend effectiveness across geographies.
- Own Dasher pay and incentive strategy end-to-end, designing programs that drive the right Dasher behaviors while delivering business outcomes at efficient spend
- Optimize pay structures across regions, balancing market competitiveness, Dasher earnings, and cost discipline to maintain a healthy and reliable supply base
- Apply behavioral economics thinking to how pay constructs and incentives are designed, tested, and refined. Understand what motivates Dashers and how small changes in structure drive meaningful shifts in behavior
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Analytics, Legal, and Operations to align on pay strategy and deliver shared outcomes

- Understand what motivates Dashers and how small changes in structure drive meaningful shifts in behavior
- Lead rigorous, data-driven analyses to diagnose spend inefficiencies, model the impact of pay changes, and surface actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
- You are comfortable influencing cross-functional partners and aligning stakeholders around clear decisions
Requirements
- You have 6+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, technology, finance, or a related field
- You have owned complex business areas with accountability for financial and operational results
Skills
- You are highly analytical and comfortable using data and AI tools to diagnose issues, prioritize actions, and measure impact
Compensation
- Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
- Base salary is localized according to employee work location.
- In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants.

- The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within British Columbia.
