About the role

  • We are seeking experienced HVAC Field Technicians with the ability to travel to customer sites to start up, commission, troubleshoot and repair the equipment we represent.
  • This position requires the capability to work independently, and candidates should have strong diagnostic skills.
  • This is a full-time opportunity for an energetic self-starter.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects and processes while working independently and with limited supervision
  • Start-up, commission, and support BMS on equipment we represent
  • Perform factory start-up, commissioning, warranty service on Data Center equipment and systems we represent.
  • Performs electrical and mechanical inspections on equipment to ensure peak performance
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • An ideal candidate will be customer service oriented and work well with others.
  • Submits required paperwork to Service Coordinator in a timely manner
  • Flexibility to work overtime/ weekends, as required

Skills

  • Ability to apply knowledge of refrigeration, air flow, and theory.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse client groups.
  • Effectively communicate and properly describe problems and solutions.
  • Well-developed planning, organization, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to produce clear, timely and concise documentation and have well-developed problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel substantially within operational region.
  • A flexible schedule may be required.
  • Willingness to work in adverse working conditions
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have valid driver's license with good driving record
  • Vertiv trained or certified
