Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement moderate complexity training initiatives to support manufacturing.
  • Investigate, purchase, and implement tooling and equipment to support daily operations.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Recognize, recommend and validate design and process changes to improve manufacturability. Implement changes with product design engineering.
  • Identify and implement improvements to material utilization, department layout and machinery efficiency.
  • Lead and support safety, 5S, and Lean initiatives. Expected to complete internal Lean Leader certification.
  • Manage moderately complex team projects involving individuals from various departments to ensure integration between manufacturing, sales, finance, marketing and product engineering.
  • Support production and manufacturing to optimize quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and operational efficiencies resulting in improved customer satisfaction.
  • Support production and manufacturing quality management system and policies.
  • As a Manufacturing Engineer II for Greenheck Group you will optimize factory costs, quality, and customer service through the conception, development, and implementation of new or improved manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, material flow, plant layout, or product design.

Requirements

  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer and phone.
  • The person is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as:
  • Occasional mobility required to attend in-person meetings and complete various office tasks.

Nice to have

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in engineering required.
  • CAD skills required.
  • 2 Year / associate degree in engineering or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.
  • 4 Year / bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
  • Powder or wet paint experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • General fluency in SAP.
  • Experience with Lean concepts.

Compensation

  • Greenheck Group takes pride in providing competitive pay along with a comprehensive benefits package as part of our total rewards program.
  • The starting base pay range for this position is $95,161 - $117,552 and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
