About the role
- ETAP is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer with extensive knowledge of design, modeling, and analysis of electric power systems, electrical machines, and power electronics.
- Extensive software development experience in MS C++ is required, and development experience in electric power system simulation software is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Research, design, write specifications, and prototype for various power system modeling.
- Lead and develop in the ETAP software environment.
- Support ETAP marketing, workshops, and technical support.

Requirements
- Desirable to have experience in developing simulation software with Microsoft Visual C++.
- Education
- MS or PhD in Power System Engineering or Electrical Engineering. An MS degree in Computer Science is a plus.
Nice to have
- A Professional Electrical Engineer license is required.
- 5 to 10 years' relevant experience.
- Experience in modeling and analysis of power system studies.
- Capabilities in researching, designing, and testing of various power system simulation models.
- Ability to follow various industrial standards and write specifications.
- Highly motivated, self-managed, details-oriented, and well-organized
- good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Desirable to have experience in power system software development.
Compensation
- $125,000 - 195,000 Annual
- This pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation that the position offers, and final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational attainment and/or training.
