About the role
- The Facilities Technician III is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation and safety of the industrial facility.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to entry-level and intermediate technicians.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
- Perform complex troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Lead and/or perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and building infrastructure.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and report any issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field.
- Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and perform physical tasks as required.
Nice to have
- Extensive experience in an industrial setting.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards.
- Vocational training or certification in a relevant trade (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
