Skills
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Lighting Technician in live entertainment, theater, or events industry;
- Proficiency in operating lighting consoles (e.g., GrandMA, ETC EOS) and familiarity with lighting software (e.g., Vectorworks, Lightwright);
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues under pressure;
- Knowledge of lighting principles, including color theory, beam angles, fixture types, and DMX protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment;
- Willingness to work flexible hours;
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken;

- The On-Call Lighting Technician under the direction of the Head of Lighting / Sound / Video / FX, is responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Assist with the setup, installation, and operation of lighting equipment for rehearsals, performances, and special events;
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on lighting fixtures, cables, and control systems to ensure safety and optimal performance;
- Troubleshoot technical issues and malfunctions promptly, implementing solutions to minimize downtime during presentations;
- Assist with the repair and replacement of lighting equipment as needed, following safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines;
- Provide support and assistance during load-ins, load-outs, and technical rehearsals, collaborating closely with the studios crew members.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
