Requirements
- Experience in configuring and managing Checkpoint and Cisco firewalls and other network equipment with a detailed understanding of security configurations.
- Must be able to acquire and maintain all required Nuclear background investigations
Nice to have
- Network related certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Security related certification(
- Ability to work with all staffing departments to assimilate technical guidance and incorporate it into plans and procedures
- Ability to demonstrate analytical skills, technical knowledge, and practical application of cyber and information security principles to business leaders and technical staff.
- Experience communicating with all levels of staff, including senior management and project teams.
- Wireshark experience
- Sharepoint experience
Skills
- Engineer firewall rules
- Refreshing CheckPoint Gaia & Cisco ASA firewalls
- Perform OS upgrades
- Leveraging Tufin and other tools for firewall administration and management
- Implement firewall rules per Exelon's Management Model process
- Perform password changes
- Perform firewall backups
- Troubleshoot firewall related connectivity issues
- Provide technical consultation to Exelon staff and business users on rule requests
- Upgrade/enhance existing documentation
- Maintain firewall asset information
