About the role

There will be some in-person meetings, while still allowing flexibility to work from home.
We ask that you come into the office 2-3 days per week.
These ranges may be modified in the future.

Manage accounting for Spotify's Paid Revenue business, including Premium, Partner, and Other Paid Revenue streams.
Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and partner with leadership to implement scalable solutions.
Drive end-to-end process improvement initiatives, including proposal development, cross-functional coordination, testing, and implementation.
Partner with Finance, Product, and Engineering teams to support new business initiatives and evolving revenue models.
Support system implementations, process enhancements, and other special projects as needed.
In this role, you'll manage core revenue accounting processes, drive operational improvements, and support new business initiatives as Spotify continues to scale.
You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across teams and time zones.

You have 6+ years of accounting experience, ideally supporting SaaS, digital commerce, payments, or digital media businesses at scale.
You have experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite and strong analytical skills.
You enjoy improving processes and embracing new technologies.

CPA or CA certification is a plus.
You hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification
You are proficient with data and reporting tools, with SQL and AI experience strongly preferred.
