About the role
- Our test kitchens have the most current cooking equipment replicating that used in commercial establishments, to facilitate precision testing.
- This position involves 90% on-floor inspection and 10% reporting.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily monitoring and verification tasks as outlined in the HACCP program and recommend corrective actions for deviations
- Responsible for Pre-Operational inspections, perform equipment sanitation verification and maintain environmental sanitation records
- Maintain ongoing company compliance with all applicable regulations and third party audit requirements
- Provide support and coaching to employees and production management to maintain and improve facility QA practices and procedures
- Perform data entry and data analysis tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager
Requirements
- Excellent Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Experience in a food processing facility is an asset
Nice to have
- Possession of High School Diploma, experience in similar quality control roles are preferred
