About the role
- The Engineering Technician III provides mid-level technical support across test, integration, and operational environments, assisting engineers in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electronic and mechanical systems.
- This role supports system lifecycle activities including fabrication, configuration, integration, testing, and sustainment, with a strong emphasis on hands-on technical execution and troubleshooting.
- This position bridges engineering design and operational execution by ensuring test assets, cabling, and hardware systems are fully functional, properly configured, and ready to support mission and program requirements.

- Demonstrated ability to build, repair, and maintain hardware systems.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance required.
- 4-8 years of hands-on technical experience supporting engineering, lab, or field environments.
- Experience with test benches, system troubleshooting, or integration environments.
- Strong ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Experience with cable fabrication, wiring harnesses, and electronic assembly.
- Familiarity with test equipment (e.g., multimeters, network analyzers, RF tools).
- Experience supporting integration and operational test environments.
- BS/BA degree required.
- Experience supporting DoD/Navy programs or test environments.
- Familiarity with aircraft, communications, or shipboard systems.
Compensation
- $28 - $38.22 hourly (depending on experience)
