About the role
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team.
- This role is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records and documentation
- Resolve system issues when they arise, including working with IT support
- Support accounting team with documentation and information
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with AP and ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with Tipalti, Concur and NetSuite
Skills
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Compensation
- Compile and prepare annual 1099 tax form filing
