- Job Description *** per diem instructors can, ideally, commit to 2-3 days per week - per 8 week term *** Facilitates high-quality, student-centered learning that prepares future nurses for competent, compassionate, and ethical practice.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other instructors in preparing, administering, and grading examinations for the course. Participate in the preparation of the final evaluations for the course.
- Plan and implement orientation of new faculty in theory & clinical facilities for the courses.
- Maintain student records and assist with program data collection.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Submit required program reports & forms to the Director of the program in a timely manner.
- Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Among the requirements for faculty teaching technical (non- Gen Ed) courses in a CCNE-accredited BSN program at a college accredited by ACCSC are:

Skills
- at least 4 years' experience in direct patient care as an RN
- a BSN degree and a health-related Masters or Doctorate degree*
- at least 3 years' experience in direct patient care as an RN
