Responsibilities
- In this position, you will support the financial close process, along with reporting, budgeting, and delivering essential insights to help achieve our strategic business goals.
- Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy of financial statements and compliance with GAAP.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Prepare financial reports and perform financial analysis, variance analysis, and trend analysis to assist management decision-making.
- Support tax compliance activities, including the preparation and filing of sales tax, payroll tax, and corporate income tax returns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and improve processes.
- Support new system implementations (NetSuite) and process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Requirements
- Prepare and review journal entries required to complete the monthly financial close process.
- Assist with external audit processes by providing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- High School or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
Nice to have
- CPA or CMA certification designation is preferred but not required.
- Experience in SPA and Business Analysis helpful.
Compensation
- $65,000 - $75,000
